Build-out
Canstruction Boston 2012 began with the build-out at 8:00am on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the BSA Space in Atlantic Wharf. Volunteers were on-site guiding teams to their building spaces and to answer questions throughout the build-out.
Opening & Judging
The grand opening of the Canstruction Boston 2012 exhibit occurred on Monday, October 15, 2012. Judging for this year’s event took place right before the grand opening, where various industry representatives and sponsors came together to decide on this year’s award winners.
Gala & Award Ceremony
The Canstruction Boston 2012 Gala and Award Ceremony was held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the BSA Space in Atlantic Wharf. A raffle was held for various prizes, including gift certificates and gift baskets. This event was closed to the public.
Decanstruction
Canstruction Boston 2012 ends with the disassembly of the canned good sculptures on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Volunteers will be on staff providing materials to pack up the canned goods so they can be transported to the Merrimack Valley Food Bank.
