The Boston Society of Architects is committed to professional development for our members, advocacy on behalf of great design, and sharing an appreciation for the built environment with the public at large. Established in 1867, the BSA today consists of more than 3,500 members and produces a diverse array of programs and publications, including ABX and ArchitectureBoston. A chapter of the American Institute of Architects, it is a nonprofit, professional service organization. The BSA is located at BSA Space, a 5,000-SF gallery for creative explorations on the potential of design to inspire, create community and transform the world we inhabit. BSA Space is also home to the Boston Foundation for Architecture.
Boston Properties, a self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT), is one of the largest owners, managers and developers of Class A office properties in the United States, with a significant presence in five markets: Boston, New York, Princeton, San Francisco and Washington, DC. Boston Properties’ award-winning tower, Atlantic Wharf is the new center of Boston’s waterfront. World-class offices, waterfront retail and sophisticated urban lofts come together in Boston’s only waterfront, mixed-use complex. Framed by the buzzing harbor and the new Rose Kennedy Greenway, Atlantic Wharf is the Waterfront District’s center of activity.
